Bluetooth 4.0 Scanner - An App For Android
Bluetooth 4.0 Scanner is designed to effortlessly scan for both Low Energy and Classic Mode Bluetooth devices. This app allows users to conveniently search for Bluetooth devices, retrieve vendor information, and conveniently email the scan results. The recorded information includes essential details such as device name, location, RSSI signal strength, MAC address, and MAC address vendor lookup.
In addition to its scanning capabilities, BlueScan actively supports the earthping.com project, a crowdsourced Bluetooth database. Users also have the option to report their usage for locating lost Bluetooth devices. This app offers the convenience of downloading scan data in JSON and CSV format via email. Furthermore, the latest version of BlueScan uploads discovered devices to a web database, with the option to disable this feature in the menu settings. Bluetooth 4.0 devices can perform scans in either Classic or Low Energy mode, while devices without Bluetooth 4.0 can scan in Classic mode only.
